About the Artist:
Lori Chinn is a 23 year old artist who "loves the feeling of creating something out of nothing by simply moving her hand across a paper, watching colors and shapes being formed". During Lori's 4 years at CA College of the Arts (graphic design major), Lori learned the joy of designing art via a computer. Lori is currently working at HTC Vive (San Francisco) as a graphic designer.
Selected to paint a large heart (5' x 6') for SF General Hospital Foundation's 2019 fundraiser Hearts in San Francisco. Heart will be displayed in Union Square (corner of Stockton & Geary St.) thru October 2019.

About the Business:
Lori Chinn Designs was started in August 2013 as a small home business by Lori and Julie Chinn (daughter and mom). Lori wanted a part-time job and Julie wanted to support Lori's dream of becoming a working artist. It was Julie's hope that this venture would give Lori real life/business experience and also bring beauty into the lives of others through her many designs. This business has now evolved into a means of raising funds for non-profit organizations (primarily thru donation of art cards and framed prints for silent auctions). Proceeds from web sales are used to cover costs of the business including raw materials (frames, paper, ink...etc.) and operating costs.
It is Julie's sincere belief that Lori's talent is God given and should be shared with others. For the past five plus years, Lori's art has been donated to over 25 non-profit organizations and schools, raising over $12,000, as our way of showing Christ's love and care to those around us. If you would like us to support your organization by donating note cards and/or framed art, please send us an e-mail.
