Entry for 2013 San Francisco Youth Empowerment Fund Poster and Scholarship Contest (Theme - Let Your Voice be Heard). 3rd Place Winner:  $1,000 of which $500 was given to a non-profit organization serving youth.  Sunset Youth Services was selected by Lori to receive the funding.

 

This design symbolizes the diversity in San Francisco. The designs in the hands represent the different interests and skills of each teenager or youth, yet when the fingers overlap and have the same design in them; it shows how everyone has similarities. We need everyone's different abilities and voices to contribute to making San Francisco a better place. All of these hands are holding up a heart with San Francisco landmarks. Everyone has a part in helping our great city--the City we all love.
